This book can be read as a standalone but would be best enjoyed as a part of the series. No cliffhanger!

I laughed, I slapped my hand against my forehead and couldn't believe the discussion about bras ( you'll see lol) that I think I enjoyed this one for the humor alone. And when this conversation happens between a shy school teacher and a clueless but hot vampire you know you're in for a laugh out loud read. The only part I didn't like was how long it took for Griffin to realize his feelings for Sarah. Really?? For an elite member I would think he would have realized this sooner. Strip poker game? Highly unlikely game to happen as those vampire males wouldn't want their mates to be seen by other males. We'll just chalk this up to his youthfulness. What I would have liked to have seen in this one is the interaction between the female mates and an update on the who hired the kidnappersEither way, you'll enjoy this one as the bra scene is hilarious, but be warned: There is a scene in the cabin that may be hard to read for some. Why authors feel the need to include these scenes lately is beyond me and I'm getting tired of it. The next book to include this kind of scene in it will earn me skipping those scenes altogether and docking a star rating. They add nothing to my already fertile imagination and makes me start to think they're including it for shock value alone.

Boy did I like this book. It was so full of action, romance and some suspense. It also had some good funny moments in here.You can read this as a stand alone. But it would be better to read the series in order to full understand. Even if you didn't. It is still worth the read. Now I can't wait for the next book to come out. Each book seems to keep getting better and better.
Wow I’m now into the fourth book in the series and I fall in love with each vampire as they struggle to understand human females and the rocky road to love. Well worth your time and enjoyment. Hope this series never ends!?
I have to admit that I was skeptical about this one. I really wasn't thrilled about Sarah from her portrayal in the other books. I was really surprised by how this one came together. I devoured this book in a few far too short hours and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I know showing Lance in a different light in this book was necessary especially with his book coming up next, but I still don't like him all that much. He's done some really despicable things but everyone deserves a second chance, so I'm looking forward to seeing his story.
A mate for Griffin is filled with concern for Lance, an attempt to matchmaker that goes horribly wrong, violence and death, a kidnapping, and finally a HEA for Sarah and Griffin! There are still radicals who hate human women consorting with vampires - and a belief by Sarah that no one would threaten her because she was unimportant - and then the unthinkable happened and she is in danger of being raped and killed! Don't miss this heart stopping installment. I was provided with a preliminary copy for an honest review and I must say that I was not disappointed - I loved A Mate for Griffin. . . Don't miss it!

So this was a nice change from the previous books in this series, but still kind of annoying.
However, with that being said, I couldn't help from getting so annoyed at Sarah and Griffin for beating around the bush with their feelings.
I get that Griffin was trying to help Lance, but after being kidnapped, almost killed, and Sarah saving his life they both still walked away from their feelings.
On the plus side, Sarah wasn't whinny like the previous females in the series!
I thought it was the worst book she ever wrote. The heroine comes off as completely dumb. I got 3/4 the way through the book and could not finish. If you don't like a completely dumb heroine with no self esteem, stay the hell away from this!
Griffin is the sweetest male and a faithful loyal friend to a vampire who is suffering loss, hurt and insecurity. Sarah is a sweet sexy pre-school teacher who wants to heal everyone. The two of them hatch a plan to save the hurting vampire, but like all perfect plans it backfires. Sarah and Griffin find they have more in common than they thought, even their feelings for each other. With a little help from the broken vampire they might just get their HEA. Unfortunately they don’t realize their true feelings until after the bad guys try to end them. This book is another great installment in The Program. I look forward to seeing who The Program helps to find a mate next.
