The info provided in the book is fine, but the table of contents is empty. So there is no way to backtrack or go to a different topic other than go page by page. That is so disappointing for a reference book. Other guides that I have for my fire hdx do not have this problem.
I thought I already reviewed this. It's mute not because just did an OS upgrade and the screen shots are no longer valid. It was sure useful when I bought it.
The writing was conversational. Sometimes I liked it, sometimes I did not. Due to the way that the author presents the material, you pretty much must read the entire book to get much benefit from it. I could not easily go to sections that dealt with specific things that I was interested in, including going back to points that had already been covered that I wanted to review again. That said, given that I could find NO User Manual, it was a major help in getting started and finding my way around. Unfortunately, every time changes/updates the operating system, the book becomes a little bit less germane.
The book is short, well written and easy to understand, and covers just about everything you would need to know for the basics. It has an index that makes it really easy to find and go directly to the information you need. Very comprehensive and understandable, I'd recommend it for anyone who just got one of the new Fires 6 or 7.
Very helpful for someone who has never worked with a kindle before and is easy to understand.
Good source of info for operating the Fire. Provided all the info I have needed so far, however, I have not done anything exotic with my Fire yet. So can't say how good it is if you are looking for something very high tech. I put book on my so I could read directions and operate Fire at the same time. Worked out good for me.
There are things I am still trying to work on and keep going back to check if it is being done correctly. Yesterday
finally figured out how to take photographs, the instructions were simple but I kept getting half a photo. The problem
was I needed o take my kindle out of the case which was cutting off the photo. Think this was well worth the cost.
