This deck is so awesome and I would highly recommend it, as it pertains primarily with the native and earthly avenues providinng you accurate revelations.
This deck and accompanying book is among the best oracle decks available today. The deck is based upon the wisdom of the medicine wheel. The book not only has meanings of each card but April also included exercises for each card to help the user go deeper into the oracle experience and achieve even better results. This is especially important when doing shadow work, which is simply not fun. Having the guidance of the exercises helps one walk their path with confidence even when the terrain seems unstable.
There are many different layouts which are described. I usually use just the "card of the day" and am always amazed at how insightful the deck is. When I face more complicated unknowns I will use a more detailed spread. I also like the app on the Android for on the go convenience.
I have had the privilege of having readings done by April over the phone, by email and in person. I have found her to be truly gifted and in tune with Spirit. When I found out she had created the Medicine Wheel Oracle Book and Deck, I purchased 3 sets; giving out two as gifts. I have used her set for some time now and I appreciate how her guides speak through her personality in her writings. The Medicine Wheel Oracle Deck is based on the 41 stones of the Medicine Wheel. The guide book has suggestions on how to do various readings and explains each card picked. There are exercises at the end of each card's reading to help the reader focus on ways to enhance the meaning of the cards. I had recently moved and lost touch with this oracle deck for a few months. As I was unpacking last week, I came across the cards and sat down to do a drawing. I was soon grinning as I picked a card and read the guide book. It was as if an old and trusted friend had come to visit. I would highly recommend purchasing April Lugo's Medicine Wheel Oracle Book and Deck. At the very reasonable price they are offered for, one can purchase multiple sets for gift giving.
I received this book and deck and absolutely love them! I got them a while back, but today pulled it out and it hit me so hard that I thought I would write a review on it.
I have several Tarot, Oracle and Angel decks. What sets this deck apart from all the others is that it has exercises to do with them. Today I pulled the independence upside down. Showing I give my power away and it's time to take it back. Yes other books/decks would and could say the same. Thank you for the info people but how do you do that? In her book that goes with the deck it gives you exercises in how to take your power back... Or at least begin to. Now... Anyone who follows my reviews knows I do allot of them, but if you find yourself reading this, and it resonates with you, I firmly believe you were meant to find this!
I don't know if Dr. Lugo took these pictures herself, or if she had someone take them, but they all look like they were hand picked or taken with that specific thought in mind. Each card on its own is a journey I highly recommend you take!
